wuts the hamachi? Empty wuts the hamachi?

i looked around the site but couldnt find out what the hamachi is. it said on the new download to please use hamachi but i dont know what its called or what its password is. please help, and thank you.

i just tried to run it and it said unable to connect to the server and that i should check firewall settings... this has happened on a couple servers i tried... is this because of hamachi? if so, lets go back to that problem.
